Techniques: Diversified manual adjusting techniques, Gonstead, Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), Low force techniques such as Thompson Drop-Table, Sacro-Occipital Technique (cranials, pelvic blocking), Laser Therapy and Activator technique. Joyce incorporates her treatment with rehabilitation exercise programs, improving functional movement patterns, trigger point therapy, active muscle release technique, jaw release, soft tissue work, rigid/kinesiology taping, and lifestyle advice

Joyce is a passionate, caring and motivated chiropractor. She was born and raised in Singapore for 22 years, and speaks three languages, English, Mandarin and Hokkien. Joyce obtained her Diploma in Biomedical Sciences in Singapore, and moved to Sydney to pursue her passion for chiropractic and holistic healthcare, completing her Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney.

Joyce has always lived an active lifestyle from a young age, and has been involved in numerous sports such as badminton, basketball, touch footy, and rugby union. Joyce suffered from a right ankle dislocation injury, multiple whiplashes, low back pain, and sports injuries for a number of years. Unsatisfied with a medication only approach, Joyce seeks out an alternative medicine approach. After seeing a Chiropractor in 2011, Joyce found amazing results with chiropractic and knew that she’d wanted to become a chiropractor to help people recover quickly, function optimally, and heal naturally.

Joyce is a strong believer in preventative care, optimising health functions and sports performance. Joyce provides chiropractic care to a vast range of patients, specializing in Diversified manual adjusting techniques, Gonstead, Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), Low force techniques such as Thompson Drop-Table, Sacro-Occipital Technique (cranials, pelvic blocking), Laser Therapy and Activator technique. Joyce incorporates her treatment with rehabilitation exercise programs, improving functional movement patterns, trigger point therapy, active muscle release technique, jaw release, soft tissue work, rigid/kinesiology taping, and lifestyle advice to ensure her patient receives the best treatment outcome.

Joyce completed her level 1 sports trainer certificate through Sports Medicine Australia, and had worked with Macquarie University Rugby and AFL team. She is very passionate and dedicated in helping individuals who suffers from acute/chronic pain, spinal and joint dysfunction, sports injuries, neck and back pain, by implementing a multi-disciplinary approach together with rehabilitation programs tailored to meet individual needs, as well as the goals of long-term benefits, leading a pain-free lifestyle, improving individuals’ overall sports performances and quality of life.

Joyce looks forward to caring for the community in Eastwood and the surrounding suburbs in North West, whilst helping individuals to lead a pain-free life, achieving their goals and function optimally.
